O365 is very worth it for a charity of my organization's size, in my opinion. We're not dealing with hardware, OS and Exchange updates, etc. Yes, there's the monthly cost, but I would say that it's a wash for us. Made the switch about a year ago and I'm happy that we did. We have about 300 users, but the fact that we are a non-profit helped a bunch on cost.
